We greatly prefer our Engine Stand Adapter over the others - obviously, that is why we made it in the first place. We had done various things over the years to put engines on engine stands, then made a few that looked like this. Then customers who saw them in our shop wanted one! As can be seen in the pictures you do NOT need to mess around getting that "thing" that comes with your engine stand adjusted to fit anything -- you don't need it!
Our adapter bolts directly to your engine and the welded tube slides right into your engine stand. Adapter lets engine balance pretty nice (pivot tube is about in center of engine), and allows rotating the engine a full 360 degrees. As can also be seen in the pictures, when assembling an engine you start with the front side housing down, then stack the housings.
After the tension bolts are in, it is then really easy to rotate the engine, finish the front end float and front cover, then flip it again to do the oil pan. Pipe size is 2 3/8 outside diameter - the most common size. PLEASE be sure your engine stand uses that size! Note: Actual engine STAND is NOT included.Mazdatrix in Signal Hill, California.
